New Online Agency Resource Survey
If your agency is already a VOAD Partner, we have recently created a new organizational resource survey so that you can more easily update your information with us. Having updated information on your organization will help us assess community resources in the SEPA region should a large-scale disaster occur. These surveys will be crucial in helping provide quality service during times of need.
If you are new to VOAD, but are ready to take the next step, please feel free to submit a survey as well. You are not committing your agencies resources by filling out this survey, but rather helping us know what’s may be available in the community if there is a community need during a disaster.

New Trainings Available to VOAD Agencies
Animals in Disaster: Domesticated Animals
This training gives pet owners the tools to prepare for their pets before a disaster strikes. Attendees learn how to prepare for specific types of animals and what steps to take to be certain their pet is properly cared for during a disaster.
Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism
When faced with terrorism or weapons of mass destruction, many think there is little the average citizen can do to mitigate and prepare for disaster. This course teaches the importance of citizen awareness while detailing the types of weapons that can be used and techniques for surviving them.
For more info on these trainings, see our latest newsletter. To schedule one of these trainings please contact Christie Eastburn at 215-299-4218 or by email at EastbuC@redcross-philly.org
